APPLICATION
Email the following, in MS Word format, to rbpmwshow@efa1.org:
Contact information (full name, address, phone number and email), RBPMW member number if applicable, Google Checkout confirmation number and image documentation. Attach up to 3 jpeg images to email. Only emailed applications will be considered.
Images must meet the following requirements.
- Images are to be in jpeg format.
- 1000 pixels in its largest dimension (width or height).
- Resolution of 72 dpi.
- Clear, accurate, professional and honest representation of the work.
- Images are to be titled in the following format:
LastName_FirstName_ImageNumber.jpeg
EXAMPLE: blackburn_robert_01.jpeg
EXAMPLE: blackburn_robert_02.jpeg
- Image documentation (title, medium, size, date) is to be included on a separate document including contact and payment information. Images will be disqualified if submitted with artist name and / or information included on the actual image.
ELIGIBILITY
This competition is open to any artist working in print. Original work in all printmaking media will be accepted including, but not limited to: lithography, intaglio, woodcut, silkscreen, monotype, mixed media and digital.
- There are no size or dimensional requirements; however, large scale and three dimensional work will be juried in the context of available exhibition space and installation requirements.
- Eligible works produced between January 2008 and August 2009.
- Pure photographic images, photomechanical reproductions of existing work, film or direct reproductions will NOT be accepted.
- Accepted work shipped ready to hang with all special hanging hardware included.
- RBPMW retains a 30% commission on the final sale price.
- RBPMW / EFA staff and board members are ineligible for entry.
- Juror’s Award – donated work included in the museum collection represented by the juror.
- RBPMW Award – $500 purchase award.

Selections made by blind jury solely on presented artwork.
All selections final.
NOTIFICATION
Selected artists will be notified via email after September 21, 2009. All selected artists will be posted on RBPMW website www.efa1.org/rbpmw.

Artists are responsible for all shipping costs. Work to be sent in reusable shipping containers. Artwork will be returned in packaging as received. Work in transit to be insured by artist.
Terms
- All prize winning works will become the property of RBPMW or award sponsor.
- RBPMW reserves the right to reproduce and photograph selected works for purposes related to promotion, education and catalogue reproduction.
- RBPMW reserves the right to reject selections based on context of available exhibition space, installation requirements or failure of submitted image to match submitted work.
- All work insured while in RBPMW possession.
All unsold works will be returned in original containers at artists’ expense. Exhibited works will be returned after January 15, 2010. Notification of change in return address is artists’ responsibility. Work received without return postage or returned to RBPMW as undeliverable, will become the property of RBPMW. RBPMW is not responsible for any damage theft or loss incurred during shipment.
